New images taken in 2004
New secondhand C11 bought on Astromart with primitive mirror support, I added a aluminum plate to better support the mirror. There is also a new Vixen R200SS which I've just finished modifying the mirror cell. With coma corrector (Baader/Celestron and Vixen) it can image wide field at fast speed f4.0 with good edge performance.
A digital SLR finally! The Canon EOS-10D DSLR with replaced UV/IR filter (for better hydrogen alpha performance) and replaced focusing screen (for better manual focusing in daylight) should enable R-E-A-L-L-Y W-I-D-E imaging for astronomy. At my location, an IDAS LPS filter is a must for prolonged exposure.
