M16 Eagle Nebula
Date: 25 Septmeber 2004 with Day9 Moon
Telescope: Vixen R200SS 8¡¨f4 Newtonian on Gemini G-41 mount
Guiding: ST-4 Autoguider with Celestron C80, 80mm F11 refractor on side-by-side plate.
Camera: Genesis KAF-1602E with Astronomik FR-4 filterwheel, Baader/Celestron Coma Corrector.
Location: Tai Mei Tuk, Hong Kong
Exposure: Astronomik Hydrogen-alpha: unbinned 7 x 15mins
Software: Image acquisition by Astroart, calibration in IRIS, auto-alignment also in Astroart, sigma-combined by Sigma, and final brightness adjustment in Photoshop.
Comment: I finally know which part of the nebula looks like an eagle. When the faint H-a image came out then I immediately see the silhouette of a flying eagle.
